Hello
AIX is the result of collaboration between many players, most of the names are in the credits of the maps. Quite a few are reflected in the bot names.
The original idea was to create more variety and better game play for SINGLE players by making maps, edit existing ones etc. It has slowly morphed into the game we play today.
I do not have a complete list of the original modders and it would be unfair to pick out just a few when so many have given so much time and effort.
Sadly the crew have moved on now and are no longer active (as far as I know).

ja, die meisten mod/map-entwickler sind nicht mehr da.
schade, aber verständlich...

um so mehr freut es uns, wenn ab und zu eine neue/geänderte map auftaucht.
wie die aixs-maps. es könnten noch viel mehr sein.

als kleinen beitrag zu aix2 / aixs haben wir eine geänderte map aufgesetzt:

mashtur_city
- original von wh
- neu aufgesetzt als: aixs_mashtuur_city

änderungen:
- ohne wh,
-aix2 / aixs kompatible

- gameplay und ki-verhalten optimiert.

Tried it and I think it improves the map. Gone are spaceships which although were interesting and a good effort at introducing something different were a bit useless. The main changes are more helicopters which I think is good as it stops one player dominating the map.

I've put it on the forum download so give it a go and see what you think.

- für jet's ist die map zu klein
- das uefo müsste erst überarbeitet werden

-- kleines problem bei linux-servern: gross / klein schreibung. einfach umbenennen --

wenn dir noch andere map's einfallen die sich zum umbauen auf aixs lohnen, sag bitte bescheid.

RiP would welcome suggestions of maps you would like to see changed. Maybe you can suggest which assets you'd like to see added, or taken away/replaced...

- ausgelegt für server mit > 30 bot's

- in der cloud unter aixs

die map's sind frei für alle.

die map: aixs_battle_of_kirkuk_oilfields ist doppelt in der dl-section und hat einen kleinen bug.

OK tried the Wake Island 2017. It's a version of Blackcats Extreme and is an improvement except the sky (I presume it's supposed to be lightning) flashes and for me it makes me queasy.

The Aberdeen map has helicopters added and poison gas!! The glitches RiP referred to are the addition of canons but finding them is difficult as they are almost buried in the sand, they work fine though.

As always I'll make them available on the download section plus you can always follow RiP's link. :-)
